Posted on May 17, 2016

Dr. Suhaan Mehta, Lecturer in English, has received the 2016 Richard A. Bloom, M.D. Award for Distinguished Teaching in the SAGES Program.  The award was established in 2008 to honor distinguished teaching in the SAGES program at Case Western Reserve University.

Dr. Mehta was nominated by his students, one of whom called him “the best professor I have had here at Case to date…. he demonstrated authentic care for not only my ability to write well, but for my life in general.”  Dr. Mehta is also praised for his accessibility and his ability to “bring modern topics of international affairs to the class, both for discussion and writing lessons.”

Congratulations Dr. Mehta!
